Delicious food.Must order Crispy Mah Yau, Crispy Oyster Egg, Sweet & Sour Fish Maw & Salted Sotong. Once you settle down sitting the boss come very fast to take your order. Friendly smile boss & very efficient. Food serve very fast. Only no aircon but worth trying the food here. Close sharp at 9pm.
A local restaurant. Very tasty food and friendly boss and staff. The service was very good. My friend's glass of drink spilt. Immediately the staff came and cleaned it. Reasonable pricing and quality is good.
This no-frills spot serves up seriously delicious food at wallet-friendly prices. It's easily one of the best for authentic taste and value. If you go, make sure these four dishes hit your table: - Fried Rice: Packed with wok hei goodness and beautifully complemented by the subtle sweetness and fragrance of lap cheong (Chinese sausage). - Oyster Omelette: Perfectly crispy on the outside, delightfully fluffy and savory within. - Deep Fried Fish (Ma You) with Homemade Sauce: Crispy-skinned fish paired with the homemade sauce – a burst of pure umami that perfectly complements the fish. - Snow Beer: This one speaks for itself. If you know, you know. A truly exceptional experience that elevates the meal. #KuantanFood #HiddenGem #MustTry #LocalEats #KuantanRestaurant #FoodReview #MalaysianFood #WokHei #OysterOmelette #FriedFish #SnowBeer #LocalFood
Very delicious! I ordered their famous deep-fried threadfin with homemade sauce, red wine lees chicken, and crispy oyster omelette. Prices are reasonable, and there’s free parking available behind the shop.
红烧黑鲳鱼- deep fried and crunchy, fish meat fresh and nice taste. Fried till the fish bone actually can bite. 生面- not bad 滑大河- ok Sunday quite lot of people , if walk in better go early before 6pm can get table , after that need to wait , most table has been reserved by Customer
Dining alone and unable to consume much, I tried the Sour & Spicy Fish Maw Soup based on the photos other reviewers have posted. It did not disappoint @ RM24. Please note that the restaurant's correct name is Restoran Baru Hock Hin (per their signboard) and opening hours are from 12 noon to 9 pm, except on Mondays. It is also not air-conditioned, with old-style coffee shop tables and chairs. There is dedicated parking space behind the corner lot.
Service very good and fast. Have designated parking behind their shop FOC. Although waiting time is longer due to many people at dinner time during weekend, but food tastes good with reasonable price. Total here just RM105 and the prawn is very big size and fresh as well.
